Welcome to Curriculum & Instruction

Oakdale Joint Unified School District is committed to providing rigorous and comprehensive course offerings in grades K-12. Emphasis is placed on mastery of basic skills and on continuous student progress in all core subject areas. Curriculum for all subjects and grade levels is continuously reviewed.

The Curriculum & Instruction Department serves all learners. The department works with staff to select textbooks and supplemental materials to support language arts, mathematics, science/health, social science, and the arts. It supports exceptional children – those with disabilities, the highly-able, and English language learners. It offers career/technology specialties, serves adult learners and students who fare best in alternative programs. In addition, staff development is designed to support all staff in all areas of curriculum.
