Welcome to Oakdale Joint Unified School District Transportation

At Oakdale Joint Unified School District, the safety of our students is our highest priority. Every day, our Transportation Department is committed to providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services that families can depend on.

Transporting students is a tremendous responsibility that requires professionalism, teamwork, ongoing training, and unwavering attention to detail. Our drivers, mechanics, dispatchers, and
support staff are dedicated to maintaining the highest safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service to the students, families, and staff we serve.

Through continuous training, strict adherence to state and federal regulations, preventive vehicle maintenance, and a culture of accountability, we strive to provide every student with a safe and
positive transportation experience. We believe that excellence in school transportation is not simply measured by reaching a destination—it is measured by ensuring every student arrives safely,
every trip, every day.

To further enhance safety and communication with our families, Oakdale Joint Unified School District proudly utilizes BusRight, a real-time student transportation platform. BusRight allows parents and
guardians to track their student's school bus, receive arrival notifications, monitor pickup and drop-off times, and stay informed of route updates. This technology provides an added layer of transparency, communication, and peace of mind, ensuring
families stay connected throughout their child's transportation experience.

Our commitment extends beyond driving a bus. We are proud to serve the Oakdale community with integrity, professionalism, and a shared mission of protecting what matters most—our children.

Welcome aboard, and thank you for trusting the Oakdale Joint Unified School District Transportation Department's Mustang Movers with your most precious cargo. Together, we are committed to ensuring every student arrives safely—every ride, every day!

Thank you,

Katherine Songer
