MISSION STATEMENT

In the ever-changing, fast-paced and hyper-sensitive world of transportation; Safety, Effectiveness and Efficiency, are the prime factors to the success of any organization. These three factors are necessary in facing the challenges of providing such services for our communities’ most important and vital commodity,  Our Children.

The Transportation staff of Oakdale Joint Unified is dedicated and determined to achieving and maintaining the highest forms of safety and service possible for the staff and students of the community of Oakdale and surrounding areas. Garnering such an achievement is by far, no easy feat. It requires a level of seriousness and concentration, in order to consistently provide services under the most challenging conditions. 

Therefore; the staff members of the transportation department of Oakdale Joint Unified, pledge to adhere to strict disciplines, rigorous and consistent training regiments and constant adherence to new and existing laws and regulations; in an effort to reject complacency. In the business of school pupil transportation, “there is no room for error.” The quest to continuously achieve the “Undefeated Season” [A complete school year with no school bus accidents], is not considered “a goal,” but more so; a mindset for the members of this department. Achieving a perfect season of providing service, is not viewed upon as a profound achievement, but more so, a demonstrative action for the much deserving Students, Staff and Community of Oakdale and surrounding areas……..Welcome to Oakdale Joint Unified School District.
