AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS PROVIDING INTERVENTION, RECREATION, AND ENRICHMENT

SunAfter School Programs are available at all elementary school sites for students in grades K-6 and at Oakdale Junior High. The ASPIRE program at Cloverland, Fair Oaks, and Magnolia is supported by state ASES funding which allows students that have been identified by their site principal for specific academic intervention to attend at no cost. Students not identified for specific academic intervention may attend for a monthly fee. Sierra View is only able to provide the fee-based after school program since they do not receive ASES grant funding. Before School Child Care Programs are available at all sites for a nominal fee.

The after school program operates every day of the school year, from the school dismissal time until 6:00 pm.

The before school program starts at 6:00 am and remains open until school begins.

ASPIRE Fees

Effective 2019-20, the ASPIRE fees have increased.  Over the last few years, we have experienced a number of significant increases to our budget.  This fee increase will allow us to continue to provide high quality academic and enrichment opportunities for participating students.

Full rate of pay for each additional child - $90 per month
Reduced rate for one child - $90 per month

Before School and After School Registration

Students may begin to attend the program the day following receipt of the registration form and payment. As deemed necessary, there may be an enrollment waiting period in order for the district to identify student needs and to plan for accommodations and supports for participation.  The waiting period will not exceed two business weeks.
